With cash gifts from our wedding as startup capital, I founded Sweetpea Bicycles with my wife. She does the fit and fabrication; I help grow the business and brand. Sweetpea Bicycles is one of two companies in North America that builds bikes for women only. I worked to craft the brand identity and voice, produce the website and blog at www.sweetpeabicycles.com, and co-developed plans for future operations and growth. We opened the Sweetpea Fit and Design studio in NE Portland in 2011. 

Sweetpea Bicycles has been featured in the New York Times, Bicycling Magazine, the Oregonian, Oregon Business Magazine, and Peloton among others.
